GDAP supports i-Cafe Pilipinas initiative

MAKATI CITY, Philippines (December 5, 2009) – Fresh from the completion of the First Internet Café. National Summit, held on October 21, 2009, the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) recently expressed support for an initiative of I-Café Pilipinas..

The Summit was organized by I-Café Pilipinas in cooperation with the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT). I-Café Pilipinas is a national network of internet café owners, operators and associations in the Philippines. The Summit was held at the Ground Floor of the CICT Building, C. P. Garcia Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.

GDAP Participates in Mobile XTreme 2009

MAKATI CITY, Philippines (November 9, 2009) – Last November 7, the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) participated in Mobile XTreme: The Big Apps Competition, a nationwide search for the most innovative mobile applications in enterprise and productivity solutions, entertainment, fun and games; and, cause-oriented apps. The event was organized by the Ayala Technology Business Incubation program, with support from IPVG, Globe, and MegaMobile.

GDAP Participates in 2009 International Outsourcing Summit

MAKATI CITY, Philippines (December 7, 2009) – Last October 21, 2009, the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) participated in the 2009 International Outsourcing Summit(IOS). The IOS was held in Sofitel Philippine Plaza, CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. Organized by the Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPA/P), the IOS was intended as "a venue for global BPO executives to discuss global issues and other threats and opportunities emerging for the industry".
